As an out-of-network provider, I do not accept insurance. This preserves the confidentiality of our discussions and avoids the need for a diagnosis and sharing of this information. Opting for private pay therapy ensures:

  • Confidentiality: Your privacy is safeguarded as discussions and diagnoses do not have to be made or shared with your insurance company.

  • Flexibility: Treatment approaches and session lengths are customized to your needs without insurance limitations.

  • Quality of Care: Your care is my focus and not the administrative burden of insurance claims.

Pay is required at the time of service.

 

I am, however, happy to provide a Superbill, which is a type of receipt, that you can turn into your insurance company for reimbursement. 

 

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133 – effective January 1, 2022), healthcare providers need to give clients or patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
